Instrument

Grand uses separate recordings of soft and strong strikes. Samples load as needed; the full set is about 16 MB. Choose the lightweight version on a slow connection. Samples are bundled in the offline mobile build.

Note length

Sets screen-key preview length and release softness. MIDI notes are held until the key or retaining pedal is released. Written note durations in piece playback do not change.

Beats per bar

Clicks on every beat; the first beat of each bar is accented.

This browser cannot give the site access to MIDI. On a computer, use Chrome or Edge. On iPhone or iPad, use the Vibe Piano app and connect the instrument by cable through a USB adapter.

Bluetooth piano

Web Bluetooth isn't available in this browser. If the instrument only sends MIDI over cable, use the Vibe Piano app on iPhone or iPad and choose Connect MIDI.
